Archives and Collections

The Taylor Foundation’s archives and collections are mainly composed of a Department of Manuscripts and Typescripts dealing mainly with the Association’s history and Baron Taylor’s legacy and a Department of Prints and Preparatory Documents used for Les Voyages pittoresques et romantiques by Taylor, Nodier and de Cailleux, and of files and collections of various artists.

These collections are sourced essentially from documents conserved by the Association since its creation, to which various donations and bequeaths have been added.

These documents are available for consultation on-site at the Association’s headquarters by artists and researchers alike, and by appointment only.
